Please take a few moments to read these important terms & conditions - Dogs will be accepted for grooming after the Owner (or other responsible person) has signed the terms and conditions. if we groom your dog in the absence of a signed form, you are deemed to have accepted the Terms and Conditions set out here, which are subject to change at any time.

Please note no owners are to step past the barrier into the salon for insurance reasons.

Cancellations:

I require at least 48 hours notice to cancel or rearrange an appointment, 50% of the total groom price will be taken as a deposit to secure the appointment. This can be taken off the total groom price or rolled over to the next appointment it will be retained in the event of a late cancellation or no show If you are more than 15 mins late for your appointment it is highly likely we will no longer have time to groom your dog without it having a knock on effect on the rest of the day therefore will be charged at full price and considered as a no show

Dog Health:

Assumptions are made that the dog is fit and well enough to be groomed, grooming of sick or elderly dogs is entirely at the owners risk, grooming may expose underlying skin issues or health problems for which I cannot be held liable. Puppies can not be booked in until they have completed all their jabs. I will not groom pregnant bitches and prefer not to groom bitches in season due to the risk of infection ans distress it causes them Whilst every care will be taken with your dog should an accident or illness become apparent a vet may be called, unless I am clearly liable this will be met at your cost. Permission is assumed for me to provide first aid and CPR if required. Very overweight dogs or very underweight dogs may take longer to groom due to the extra work involved and care required this may incur an additional charge An additional £15 will be added to the cost of the groom if your dog is found to have fleas ; this is for application of flea shampoo and to cover the cancellation of other dogs booked in afterwards and the cost of fumigation of the salon

 Payment and Time Keeping:

Payment for the groom must be made in full before you leave the salon upon completion of the groom unless you are a VIP member I have the right to change prices at any time Failure to pick your dog up within the agreed time will incur a charge of £5 for every half an hour past the agreed time. Having other dogs in distracts the next ones I'm grooming and I can not give yours or the next one my full attention

Aggressive dogs:

I reserve the right to refuse to start or complete a groom if the dog is aggressive or very stressed and becomes a risk to themselves or me. The full starting price for your groom will still be charged because at that point we cannot fill your appointment. Muzzles will be used if necessary and the groom may take longer. Please be honest about your dogs behavior prior to the groom so I am prepared, I am happy and experienced in grooming these dogs but need to be prepared. An extra charge may be added to cover the extra time needed to groom an aggressive dog I am more than happy to groom big dogs however they must be able and willing to get on and off the table and in and out of the bath mostly on their own as I'm simply not strong enough!

 Matted coats:

In the event of any dog needing a shave down/clip down, the owner should be aware that irritation may occur from the shaving process, as well as uncovering nicks, cuts or other potential problems. The owner agrees that we will not be held liable for any after-grooming effects of matt clipping procedures or problems "uncovered" by clipping off a badly matted, neglected coat. This could include, but is not limited to the following: itchiness, skin redness, irritations or abrasions however caused, post groom furunculosis, pyoderma - superficial or deep and/or pyotraumatic dermatitis. If I am able to dematt quickly and safely using specialist tools then I will. However no dog will be subjected to stress or discomfort and all dogs will be groomed in accordance with The Animal Welfare Act 2007. A shave-down or dematting will always incur extra fees

Wee Wee's Please:

Please ensure your dog has had an adequate chance to relieve itself before you come to the salon. We do not have the time or the facilities to do this for you. If your dog defacates or urinates during the grooming process and requires a second bath you will be charged appropriately. Please bag up your dog's mess and put it in the bin if your dog has an accident outside our salon. We have bags available
